The Club

The Club is a group of friendly and laid back little folks that I've met in a forest near Amsterdam. They come from the woods near and far to meet their friends on a mossy patch under a big old willow, and to share their commmon passion, chess.

I asked them to stand model for a group of figures I was whittling for a friend, and after a little persuation with a bottle of old mede they agreed. This is the result of the time we spent together
